Fundraising at Canine Freestyle GB Competition Weekend

Penny Draper - member of HTM Team GB 2010 has kindly offered her services to help raise funds for HTM Team GB 2011. See below for details .........................

Focused on preventative care, dog massage is part of a holistic approach to your pet’s health care. Massage is a gentle and non-invasive therapy that can relieve pain and stress. Massage is a great way to maintain your dog’s health and well-being. Massage can help reduce stiffness and fatigue when they return home by increasing the circulation and flushing waste products from the muscle tissues Or, for your older dog, massage may be just what the doctor ordered. They can feel the effects of a good massage in their joints and immune system.
For a full treatment a vets permission is required, but for assessment and relaxation massage this is not necessary. Penny will assess your dogs needs and talk you through this before performing some relaxation massage, this may be useful after competition to ensure the dog does not stiffen up, or just as a pleasurable treat, or a reactive dog could find this relaxing before going into the ring to enable them to concentrate on the owners commands. Penny will also talk you through some simple techniques you can do your self.
Each session will last 10-15 minutes and it is essential that you sign up as demand will be high. £5.00 per dog per session

Thank you from HTM Team GB 2011.
