Wednesday 19th October - all ready to set off to Denmark |
And they are off! Flags Flying for the four hour drive to Harwich |
Great for the dogs to have a very familiar vehicle to travel in. |
Once in Harwich - time for a good walk for the dogs. Super weather keeping the dogs clean and dry for the ferry journey. |
Beautiful sunset whilst waiting for the ferry on the harbour. The departure time was delayed by one hour due to the awful weather at sea the night before. |
Champagne for the ferry crossing |
Lesley checks its a good vintage |
Looks like she is pleased! |
And to prove Karen travelled with us - here she is |
Oh dear!!! And it wasn't the drink! The sea was awful during the night - both Karen and Kath were very seasick! |
Luckily Lesley wasn't affected so helped Karen prepare for the world outside! |
Out on deck - hoping the fresh air clears the sickness |
Whoops - hope Lesley is ready to help with the hair again! |
This is the deck where the dogs can be walked during the journey - not much room - but there weren't many dogs on board |
Looking for land |
Not many other passengers out on deck!!! |
At least the sun was shining |
And Lesley still feeling OK! Almost on dry land. Thank goodness - it was a long long journey! |
